Welcome to Mining Code
Welcome to Mining Code, and thanks for rocking up. You’re the best! This is a place of technology, where I will share my thoughts and lessons through the Mining Code blog, where I will share tools that I create and where I will generally try not to break things too badly as I tinker. Since moving this site to it’s own domain (1 day at time of writing), I have already totally broken everything twice and locked myself out 3 times. The urge to understand things can obviously backfire sometimes.
My aim is for this to become a hub for all of the things that interest me, and hopefully others too! I’d love for you to get in touch with any stories and lessons that you have, any content that you think would interest me, or if you would like me to write about something specific. I’m an inveterate learner and have an overwhelming need to know things. Thankfully this puts me in good company, as most software engineers will share the same habits.
The main part of this site is the Mining Code blog, where I will endevour to give all of the information that I wished I had when I first left University. These are the things that I consider to be have been the most useful or the hardest won lessons, things like how to work with agile, programming tips, negotiation and managing certain relationships in the workplace. I really do hope that you can turbo charge your own knowledge by digesting these snippets and continuing to read the content that I publish. If something isn’t clear, then feel free to get in touch and I’ll be happy to talk with you.
So, I hope you enjoy your time here and I look forward to hearing from you.
